OUR VISION

A RESPONSIBLE GARMENT IS, ABOVE ALL, A GARMENT THAT STANDS THE TEST OF TIME

Soeur champions a certain vision of lasting fashion — pieces that are passed down and endure through time. It guides our ambition to make each of our collections, season after season, more ethical, more qualitative and more respectful of our planet, today and for tomorrow.

By committing to this approach to sustainability, we prioritise the recyclability of our products at end of life by choosing unmixed materials wherever possible. In 2025, more than 60% of our textile pieces were single-material.

We believe in timeless fashion that endures through time and can be worn in any season. That is why we created a permanent collection "Le wardrobe". We have also conducted laboratory durability tests in order to refine our products and offer them the best possible longevity.

OUR FIRST PRINCIPLE

lasting and local relationships

In 2025, more than 64% of pieces are produced through near-sourcing (Europe & Maghreb).

In our vision of slow fashion, we place emphasis not only on the durability of our pieces but also on the durability of our relationships, by building lasting partnerships with our suppliers. 43% of them have been working with us for more than five years. These suppliers know our products, our standards and work with us to continually improve our designs. That is why we do not limit ourselves to their geographical location. However, we do our utmost to develop new local partnerships, in Europe or in the Maghreb.

These lasting commitments give them the financial stability needed to implement social programmes within their factories and, in turn, improve their own production chains.

OUR CONVICTION

BETTER KNOWLEDGE FOR BETTER PRODUCTION: TRACEABILITY

This is the first priority of our CSR approach, and it is fundamental. It is through traceability that we conduct social audits, improve our processes and guarantee this transparency to our clients by knowing the location and methods used at each stage of our production.

In March 2022, Soeur joined the ICS (Initiative for Compliance and Sustainability), in order to assess the working conditions of its suppliers and support them in their improvement journey. This enables us to reduce social and environmental risks while also continuously improving the quality of our products and their durability.

In 2024, nearly 95% of tier 1* suppliers were audited on the basis of rigorous social methodologies. We also extended our audit strategy to our tier 2 and tier 3 partners, with respectively 69% and 74% of known suppliers audited.

*DID YOU KNOW?

The manufacturing chain of a garment is composed of 4 main stages: production and extraction of raw materials, transformation of raw materials (spinning), weaving, knitting, dyeing or printing, and finally garment assembly. As a brand, we are in direct contact with garment manufacturers (tier 1) and sometimes with material suppliers (tier 2). Encouraged by the introduction of the AGEC law, we question our suppliers on the origin of the preceding stages.

Our environmental impact

towards more responsible collections

We are committed to prioritising the use of more sustainable raw materials in the development of our collections.
To this end, we have created our own eco-responsible standard to serve as a guide. Without ever ceasing to question ourselves, in 2023 we chose to revise our definition of eco-responsibility at Soeur to make it more demanding. From now on, viscose and Oeko-Tex certification alone are no longer sufficient to be considered eco-responsible at Soeur (except for silk).

The Spring-Summer 2024 and fall-Winter 2024 collections include 40% eco-responsible Soeur pieces, surpassing our target of 36%.

The Spring-Summer 2025 collection already contains more than 51% eco-responsible products.

Regarding manufacturing processes, we are in constant pursuit of techniques that reduce our impact, whether in terms of resource use or environmental discharge. Collaborations are often an opportunity for us to experiment with new materials: with Léandra Medine Cohen, we selected from stocks of fabrics used in previous collections. With K-way®, we tested a 100% recycled material developed by their team.

our commitment

a committed team

We firmly believe that the brand's commitment comes through a shared dedication from all our teams, to carry and animate our projects and vision. In 2024, five team members were trained as facilitators of the Fresque du Climat workshop, with the aim of raising awareness among 100% of headquarters staff by 2025.

OUR SECOND-HAND PLATFORM

FOR A MORE RESPONSIBLE FASHION

SOEUR champions a vision of lasting fashion — pieces that are passed down and endure through time. To go further in this commitment, Soeur is launching Soeur Second Hand, a platform that allows you to buy second-hand or resell the Soeur pieces you no longer wear, in exchange for an immediate store credit redeemable online or in boutique.

Buying a second-hand garment rather than a new one reduces its environmental impact by 80%, avoiding greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption and the pesticides required to produce a new piece.

A tangible solution for moving towards a circular and responsible fashion.
